Fieldston Alumni Online
Welcome to the ECF alumni website, the online home for 7,000-plus Fieldston graduates. With spring comes the bi-annual ALP (Alternative Learning Program) for Fieldston Upper students, full of inventive seminars and trips around and beyond the city, and several alumni will be sharing their areas of expertise to enhance this favorite Fieldston tradition. Harvey Litt ’52 will lead a two-day course on the stock market, and Jed Bernstein '73 will do a one-day course called “The Business Behind the Show.” The spring musical this year is Grease--not the John Travolta version you may remember, but a more sophisticated production! On May 15, Doug Liman ’84 will share his thoughts on philanthropy in action as part of Spring Awakening held at Fieldston. Conceived three years ago by the ECF P&T, Spring Awakening is a community -building event , with an afternoon of thought-provoking panel presentations on current issues and events.
Founder's Day is another big event on the spring calendar; this year’s speaker is Howard Wolfson from the class of 1985. And last but not least, preparations are in full swing for the June class reunions of 1950, 1955, 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, and 2005. Look here for more information and to register. All our reunion classes will be celebrating in style, and several classes are also giving back to ECF with a gift to the Annual Fund. At the office for institutional advancement and alumni, we keep alumni connected to their alma mater and each other to advance the school’s special mission. Alumni can reconnect to Fieldston through class reunions, local and regional receptions, Homecoming, other special events, and the ECF Reporter. We also find alumni to return to campus to work with current Fieldston students and faculty on various projects. We encourage you to send us your latest contact information and news for the ECF Reporter and to get involved in alumni activities through the alumni volunteer network. Don’t forget to check our events calendar - there are some great ones coming up!
